Oxanna has been painting for close to thirty years using a variety of media. She now focuses on painting with oil and cold wax medium in an abstract style.
She has studied with the following established artists: Janice Mason Steeves, Rebecca Crowell and Lisa Pressman.
Oxanna is a permanent member of the Guelph Studio Tour.
She has participated in group shows at the Illumine Gallery in St. Thomas, Paula White Diamond Art Gallery and Design Studio, Waterloo and Silence, Guelph.
Oxanna’s paintings were selected for the 2017 and 2018 Insights Juried Art Shows at the Wellington County Museum and Archives. Two of her works were chosen for the 2018 Central Ontario Art Association juried show at the Art Gallery of Hamilton. One of these paintings was awarded juror’s choice.
Oxanna was born in Toronto, grew up in Grey County and has lived in London Ontario, Burnaby B.C., and Mississauga. She and her husband have resided in Guelph for over 20 years, and currently share their home with a black lab named Raven.
Oxanna has a BA in Physical Education from Western University, an MBA from York University and obtained her CA designation.
